This scale replaced one that we had bought about a year ago. That scale used "Tap on it" to turn it on, then it was a "race against time" to step onto it and see your weight. I have difficulty walking, and could not step onto the scale fast enough to avoid getting an "error" indication rather than my weight. This scale is lower to the floor making it MUCH easier to step up onto, and I can get a reading rather than an "error". I also appreciate VERY MUCH that this scale uses standard AAA batteries rather than the "coin" batteries that wear out quickly. I would very much recommend this scale to anyone.

My old Taylor scale was way off but I just didn't know how much. I read the reviews on this scale and ordered it. Was shocked by actual weight but continued on with my weight loss. Every time I got onto the scale, it would be accurate everytime. That was until today. I purchased this scale on 6-17-11. I had 2 different doctors appointments today and boy was I surprised when I got onto the scale at the first appointment and I was 8lbs lighter than what my EatSmart Scale was telling me. So I went right to my next appointment and their scale was reading the same reading. I really like this scale but it is weighing too heavy. The good news is, I've lost 23lbs, I just didn't know it until today.

I love this new scale. I put it in the living room instead of bathroom because our bathroom is small. Both my husband and I start to step on it regularly because the Big LCD is pleasant and easy to read. My husband never even bothered to try my old mechanical scale; but for some reason he is really using this one. It keeps reminding us to arrange healthier meals! I give it 4 stars only because I am not sure how long it would last acurate like this. We hope it lasts!
